"Medusa?" Procreate 2025
This piece features one of my original characters, Gigi, a gentle and compassionate figure who is connected to the animals of the forest. Reflecting her love for nature, I created the palette around earthy forest tones, allowing those colors to echo the nurturing spirit that she has. Just like Medusa, hence the title, she has snakes in her hair that coil up into a curly mess.
"Dapper Cat" Procreate 2025
This work features a detailed portrait of my cat, Sam, whose naturally sophisticated demeanor inspired the composition. While approaching this, I found it an opportunity to explore realism in the digital world. By working on fine detail and texture, I aimed to create his personality. While he is soft and calm like the softness of the brush, he is also fierce and playful, like the red squares being a striking background against the fluffy cat in front.
"Jumpscare" Procreate 2024
This piece was inspired by my fascination with the dual nature of rabbits, their serene and gentle presence, as well as the sudden alertness they display when sensing danger. I integrated references to video games' visual language of the exclamation marks that allow players to be aware that there is a threat. Showing that there is tension between calm and attentiveness in both animals and the worlds that humans create around them.
"Sad Solo" Procreate 2024
This work was one of my characters, Shade, who usually has a violent personality, but, deciding to challenge myself, I showed her in a different light. I chose to explore a more vulnerable side of her personality, presenting her as a shy and solitary person. Allowing me to expand her rage and experiment with the complexity of this character.
The Sass" Procreate 2024
This character was created as a gift for a friend who loves both Pokémon and Splatoon, and the design merges elements from both series into a single cohesive figure. The color palette blended well, allowing for both series to feel recognizable. This piece allowed me to have playful creativity through a design that was fan-inspired.

In this piece, I focused on the relationship between line and space, creating a composition that emphasizes balance and movement. I don't solely rely on straight lines, instead showing dynamic marks that show a visual flow. Ending in a study that showed controlled spacing and expressive linework to highlight the structure of the work.

Emphasizing contrast and the use of silhouettes, building dimensions to something that feels like natural forms. Value and shapes can work together, evoking life without real representation.
