This drawing depicts the popular streamer Caseoh, I experimented with rendering the hair and conveying his expressive personality. Through observing him, I capture the charisma he is known for, turning his energetic presence into a visual portrait.

This self- portrait allowed me to concentrate on refining the structure of the face concentraiting on the rendering of hair and the spatial relationship between facial features. I approached the work as an opportunity to deepen my understanding of form, proportion, and detail to create a portrait that feels accurate and expressive.

This drawing features my boyfriend, created as a personal challenge to portray someone deeply meaningful to me. Rendering the person I love, I aim to require a kind of attention that looks beyond surface features to capture their character. Through this piece, I reflect a deeper understanding using drawing as a way to see him more fully and respect the connection he and I share.

In this study, I focused on gesture drawing, shifting the direction of each pose within a limited timeframe and creating an illusion of movement. By having constant, rapid observations, this work captures the energy of the figure. Highlighting how motion can be suggested through quick, intentional marks.

In this study, I explored still-life drawing with an emphasis on spatial relationships and natural positioning of each object. By observing the way the objects are leaned and occupying space, I capture a sense of quiet realism. I highlight how everyday objects can create compelling visual compositions.

In this study, I explored the rendering of fabric, focusing on the structure of folds and the way patterns interact with changing values. It was engaging to observe the lights and shadows defining each fold to create depth and movement.  Enhancing the visual components of the piece and a deeper understanding of how texture plays into design across draped fabrics.

In this study, I explored a range of interior composition shots to finally find that a library setting offered strong perspective and depth. The environment's architectural lines and shelving allowed me to experiment with framing viewpoint, to create a structured composition, and make it visually engaging.

In this study, I visited the Cincinnati Art Museum to practice drawing from life, focusing on figural sculptures. I chose to work from nude forms to deepen my understanding of anatomical accuracy and structural proportions. The way this figure is twisted allowed me to study posture and form.

This study was another drawing from life at the Cincinnati Art Museum. While observing this figure, I studied the musculature and angle of the sculpture. This also allowed me to observe natural rhythms of the body.

This study was completed from a live nude model, allowing me to observe the body's natural posture in real time. This provided me with a more authentic understanding of anatomical structure, gesture, and presence. Capturing the figure more accurately and more literally to their own persona.
